The Good Port Practices Guide was developed by the International Virtual Institute for Global Change – IVIG/COPPE/UFRJ and the Energy Planning Program (PPE) of COPPE/UFRJ, for the Ports Secretariat. The publication proposes an integrated management model for waste, liquid effluents and management and control measures for harmful synanthropic fauna (rats, pigeons, insects and other animals), with indications of good environmental management practices that guarantee an improvement in the efficiency of activities ports.
