Prepared by IVIG researchers for the Solid Waste and Effluent Management Program, the Good Port Practices Manuals bring together recommendations and suggestions for adaptation to guarantee safe environmental conditions and in compliance with legislation. The Program, proposed and coordinated by the Port Revitalization and Modernization Department of the Ports Secretariat (SEP), includes the areas of waste, liquid effluents and harmful synanthropic fauna (rats, pigeons, insects and other animals). In total, 21 manuals were produced.
