Studies for environmental licensing of projects.

IVIG's work in the environmental area involves the development of actions that contribute to guiding decision-making processes, improving investments and developing Public Policies. IVIG carries out climate vulnerability assessments and develops studies for environmental licensing of large structural projects, creates and executes Basic Environmental Plans (PBA), Environmental Management Program and Archaeological and Heritage Projects.

It operates in the area of vulnerability and adaptation to climate change, developing studies and research on extreme hydrological events, use of water resources, land use, environmental sanitation, hydrological and socioeconomic data. It is dedicated to studying expansion opportunities for other sources, researching alternatives for energy generation and observing regional realities. Supports processes for building sectoral climate change mitigation plans. know more
