About IVIG
INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL INSTITUTE FOR GLOBAL CHANGE
Created to promote studies and research, of an interdisciplinary nature, in networks anchored in universities and technological institutes, based in Rio de Janeiro, and others research groups in the country and abroad.
Its headquarters, on Ilha do Fundão (UFRJ), in Rio de Janeiro, is a complex with sustainable buildings, built with technology and alternative materials, which can guarantee a 60% reduction in CO² emissions.
Over the years, it has contributed to the Public Power, as well as companies and institutions, offering innovative and customized solutions that help minimize problems in the environmental, social and technological areas.
It has an academic production that includes 100 ISBN records in the National Library; 200 articles in magazines international; and 12 patent registrations at INPI (National Institute of Intellectual Property).
