First edition of the Pyrolysis, Energy and Sustainability Seminar held by IVIG/COPPE/UFRJ, in partnership with FAPERJ (Rio de Janeiro State Research Support Foundation), on December 1, 2022. The event brought together Brazilian and international experts for debate on the following topics: State of the Art of Pyrolysis Technology; Pyrolysis and Sustainability; Pyrolysis, Biochar and Distributed Energy; Treatment of bio-oils as inputs for the chemical industry; Pyrolysis and Municipal Solid Waste; and Application of biochar in agriculture.
